Hi Paul,
Just a quick note to thank you so much for all of your great work this weekend, everyone that spoke to us were seriously impressed with the quality and ease of the streaming, with the replays, commentary and clarity / angles etc.
It must have been a serious pain trying to coordinate everything with all of us playing / not always able to answer calls etc, you were still nothing but courteous and went above and beyond to cater to several people's whims on every occasion, so for this I am truly grateful!
Thanks again and hopefully we can work together again in the future.
Kind regards,
Fainche Faherty | Secretary
Queensland Gaelic Football and Hurling Association Inc.
Hi Paul, on behalf of the club I wanted to thank you for all your great work on family day and for once again bringing something forward thinking to hockey in Sydney. I know it's not easy doing what we do but we really appreciate the effort you go to not just for our family day but to promote hockey generally.
Ryde Hockey
I just wanted to take a moment to say 'thank you' for your perseverance and commitment in finalising QUU's two DVDs. Your efforts and drive were very much appreciated.
All feedback about the DVDs were one word - 'excellent'.
Thanks again for your professionalism, staying the distance and meeting the incredible time lines set to deliver two great products.

QUU
It's been a little over a month and a half since we had Paul Mills at the Ryde Hills-Hunter
District Hockey Club.
The engagement of his services was to film a number of segments including: the Club's history
(now in our 80th year), interview a number of key personnel, and show case the major matches
played on our Club's annual family day.
In the lead up before the formal engagement of Paul, there was much debate as to whether the
Club required such a service.. A number of our management team were not as positive about
such an endeavour.
However, after now experiencing first-hand Paul's professionalism, manner and all-round
dedication to the production of great media the team is unanimous in their overwhelming
support and satisfaction.
Paul, turned our preliminary thoughts and outlines into a great show piece event for all the
players, parents, supporters and the management team at the Club.
It became a great focal point for the Club to capture the essence of "who we are", with the final
production of his work something we are all very proud of.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Paul and would not hesitate to recommend his
outstanding services to others.

To my friends in the Brisbane Hockey Community..10.9.18
This coming Saturday marks the end of an era in Brisbane Hockey with a farewell to the streaming and broadcast services from Paul Mills and the team at HockeyZone. For those of you not fortunate enough to have spoken with Paul, his passion and enthusiasm is inspiring and the efforts he has made to promote our sport is unsurpassed in recent years.
Brisbane Hockey and Brisbane Women’s Hockey have made the decision to no longer fund HockeyZone’s services. I was present for some of the deliberations and I know this decision was not made lightly, with members grappling with the need to balance total cost against overall return to the hockey community. In the end it was believed that there was a more critical need to reduce the overall cost of the sport and to offset other rising bills. I hope that this means charges and fee increases to the clubs can be delayed another year or two and that fees to players can also be kept stationary, or possibly even come down a little, I won’t hold my breath but it would be nice!
HockeyZone has been a wonderful contributor to the sport in Brisbane providing score updates, live streams , recorded information sessions and other features. In recent years the team has been broadcasting top division Men’s and Women’s matches, weekly as well as games from the premier Junior divisions. When I haven’t been able to get to a game it has been invaluable to be able to tune into HockeyZone for the match of the day and scores from other grounds. Paul has enlisted the assistance of a dedicated group of commentators and has provided valuable coaching and support to young, aspiring camera operators and broadcast engineers.
Farewell HockeyZone, best wishes and thanks to Paul Mills and team for a wonderful service over so many years. If you see him next Saturday be sure to thank him for a job well done. If you can’t get there, watch the live stream , because it’s the last chance you will have to do so!

LSB have been a passionate supporter in the delivery of a quality live streamed hockey throughout many parts of Australia for the past 10 years or more. From my dealing with Paul since 2012 and his team they are always approachable, supportive and willing to assist our sport of Hockey. They are open to discuss and listen to what the community wants as they deliver a quality live streaming product. Hockey needs a live streaming platform to keep the global growth and presence of our game. LSB provide good quality streaming and are flexible and supportive as a well organised team.

More than pleased to be a referee as I have high regard for the work you do.
Tom Whetton - Hockey Commentator, father of Kookaburra Jake
Watching hockey on the TV used to only be associated with the Olympics. Since 2009 I have been
fortunate to be involved with Paul Mills bringing hockey to the masses. Paul’s attention to detail and
goal to provide the best outcome for viewers has bought constant change, always seeking to be the
best.
Having a son playing for the Kookaburras means I have watched many top-level productions and
believe Paul’s ‘End Product’ has evolved to be exceptional. I personally have learnt how important
his knowledge of the technical side of production is, to getting this result, the correct use of camera
vision (cutting to the action and replays) his direction of camera operators (down to where they
should be filming from and how) have come about from his many years of filming hockey.
I have been disappointed to see various other (in my view inexperienced) production companies
cover the sport that I love, and end up with poor coverage and see this current situation as an
opportunity to become involved with LSB Australia who have a proven track record in
producing world class hockey coverage.
Sonya Fisher – BWHA Treasurer, Tournament Director to HQ and HA, International Umpire and Tech Official
Brisbane Women's Hockey Association's relationship with Paul Mills commenced over 14 years ago and has endured and grown, even with changing formats and different broadcast partners. Several years into the relationship, we commenced directly contracting with LSB Australia which only strengthened our relationship and what it delivers to our members. Through this relationship we were the first entity in Australia to have a regular feed to FIH's Watch Hockey app - a huge win for an Association whose key aim is trying to keep our sport relevant to its membership. In all of the years of our relationship Paul has never failed us or our members - he always delivers no matter - in a true "the show must go on" approach. The product he delivers is world class and I hope HQ and HA take the opportunity to work with one of the best livestreaming entities in our sport.
Peter Busch – President Sydney Hockey
Sydney Hockey has used the services of Paul Mills and LSB to stream our competitions for the past three seasons. During this time the broadcast quality and service delivery of our product has been excellent. Sydney Hockey will continue to use and I’m more than happy to endorse the services of Paul and LSB.

Paul Mills’s contribution to the hockey community through his livestreaming service is invaluable. His unwavering dedication and passion for the sport of hockey have not only enriched the lives of countless players and supporters but also played a vital role in promoting and expanding the reach of this beloved sport through the organisation and delivery of a reliable and professional livestreaming service. We were fortunate to work with Paul Mills on a number of Hockey Zone programs from covering weekly games to building panels answering the issues in the sport. Paul has a great platform, is genuine in reaching more people and can cover the game extremely well. We would recommend anyone to use his services in this field.
Adam Barry – BHA Board Member, International Umpire, Australian Masters representative
I have known Paul Mills since 2012, when Brisbane Hockey started using his services to livestream. Since then, to now, he has always done a great job and never had any issues. I highly recommend Paul’s company for any livestreaming.
Kate Allman - Commentator: Hockey One, U21 Hockey Australia Nationals, Sydney Women’s Metro League hockey, Sports journalist and presenter
I am a commentator for Hockey One and have worked with Paul Mills on the broadcasts of the
Sydney Metro Women’s League hockey finals. It is always a pleasure to work with Paul – a true
professional who not only knows how to produce excellent live sport, but truly understands the
particular challenges and features of broadcasting the game of hockey well.
Hockey is a difficult sport to capture on screens. The ball moves quickly, players rapidly change
direction, and it can be almost impossible to use tight shots in live play – thus many broadcasters
that are not used to it often resort to wide shots where individual players are unrecognisable, and
the game looks almost boring. Paul’s understanding and experience in the game flows through to
the product – he sets up a variety of camera angles and closer shots to ensure the games are
entertaining and players recognisable. He is constantly directing his camera team to capture
different angles and players. His behind-the-goal angles are crucial for penalty corners and goal
shots.
Paul and his team capture the moments and make replays count. I would work with him any time,
and trust him to produce an excellent product every time.
